Our camp is a regular haunt for playful lemurs, and our pristine beach is an ideal spot for swimming or embarking on a sea kayak adventure. Located just a 40-minute water taxi ride from the bustling Nosy Be port, the only way to access our camp is by sea.

Lokobe Forest Adventure Includes

Return transfers from Airport to camp by land and sea. A day trip to Tanikely Marine Reserve for pristine snorkelling.
A morning visit to Nosy Komba to engage with habituated lemurs and stroll through the Island Village market. Snorkelling at Nearby Petit Iranja. Day and Night walks to experience the lemurs and other extraordinary fauna and flora. All meals prepared and provided by our staff in camp.

Lokobe Camp

Your Lokobe Forest Adventure starts the minute you book your trip and begins when you land at Nosy Be airport. You will be welcomed with a warm island greeting and travel through the ylang ylang plantations and chaotic Helville town to the port, where it is onto our private rustic camp, an exploration journey of Madagascar.

From our private camp set on the edge of the Lokobe Forest Reserve, we explore nearby Nosy Komba, visit its village market and get close to its habituated lemurs.

Optional extra excursions.

Day trip to Nosy Iranja by speedboat, Tuk Tuk Nosy Be tour, Scuba diving, Deep sea fishing and Kayak Excursions.

Note:

  • Cold beer, rum, water and soft drinks are available.
  • You are welcome to bring your own wine and spirits.
  • There is mobile reception in the camp.
  • You can choose to spend fewer days in our camp and enjoy a few nights on Nosy Be, Komba or Sakatia. Costs will be adjusted accordingly.

The Small Print

  • The price quoted covers the 7-night package including meals, activities and transfers.
  • Transfers if you are heading straight to the camps and back to the airport.
  • If you are going on to other hotels, we can arrange transfers but will be for your account.
  • Visas are done on arrival and are approximately €10 per person.
  • Please note all prices are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations and are priced at the current airfares which can change at any time.
