The 10 wooden bungalows, including 3 duplex for families are near the waterfront. Each room has a large terrace facing the sea, decorated by French fashion designer, Frederique Glainereau, a king size bed, a sofa that can be converted into extra bed, a desk with free Wi-Fi access, a large bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower. The rooms are designed to keep the interior cool because of the ravinala roofs and high ceilings with a large ceiling fan.
The restaurant is entirely open on a terrace overlooking the bay, surrounded by the freshwater pool. The creative cuisine is inspired by the spicy flavours of Madagascar.
The seafood dishes can include king mackerel, kingfish, lobsters and prawns which is brought daily by local fishermen. Some of the delicacies on offer are the foie gras fried with mango or litchi, filet of zebu and a wide selection of exotic fruits. L’Heure Bleue’s restaurant is under the supervision of Ali, a talented Malagasy Chef.
