The Island of Nosy Komba is a volcanic island between Nosy Be and the mainland of Madagascar. The pristine beach is located only a few steps away from the lodge and allows for safe swimming and snorkelling on a reef about a hundred metres offshore. Please note that there are no roads on the Island of Nosy Komba so make sure you organise your airport shuttle well in advance. These untouched tropical forests can be explored via hiking routes by arranging with a tour guide for an afternoon excursion.

There is so much more this Island can offer from the picturesque mountain ranges of the island to the nearby village of Ampangorina to spotting the ocean giants while on a whale-watching safari. When you experience the underwater coral forests of Madagascar, you will not forget the kaleidoscope of colours and the thriving sea-life.

An easy way to explore the neighbouring Islands at your own pace is by paddling through the calm waters on a canoe, ending off your day with platters of fresh seafood and other delicious delicacies.
