The Vanila Hotel & Spa is located in Bemoko on the tropical island of Nosy Be right on the beach facing the island of Sakatia or known as the orchid’s island. The hotel integrates with nature with the Malagasy architecture combining teak and rosewood furniture. There are so many sporting activities to sign up to on Vanila’s private beach on the island of Sakatia which is only a 10 minutes dugout ride away. Take on some kayaking, snorkelling and trekking during the day. The beach restaurant and bar winds you down to a relaxing evening. A true ‘Hôtel de charme’ combining the active holiday with the comfort and true Malagasy traditions and culture.
Vanila Hotel & Spa has 56 rooms consisting of;
- 20 Garden rooms (28-36sqm and tropical garden view, private terrace)
- 34 Ocean rooms (32-42sqm and an ocean view, private balcony)
- 8 interconnecting rooms
- 2 Prestige suites (64sqm with an outdoor Jacuzzi on private 28sqm balcony
Parfum Vanille is the main restaurant situated between the Garden rooms.
Grill Del Sol offers light lunches at the beachfront and gourmet dinners in the evening.
There are four bars; one is a pool-bar.
The hotel has established the training Centre of Tourism and Hospitality of Nosy Be (CFTH). The manager and founder of the hotel created the COFESTIN (Committee of the organisation of festival of Nosy Be) and now celebrate their 21 years alive which attracts 50 000 spectators each year.
